After last night's sudden practice cancellation due to low water levels in the pool, I am sure I was not the only one who had visions of our season being shortened or cancelled due to problems with the pool! Happily, there was a perfectly reasonable, non-season-ending reason for the water levels: city maintenance workers forgot to turn off the fill valve for the baby pool, which draws from the main pool. Don't ask me where all that water was going once the baby pool was filled, but once they closed that valve, everything was fine.

This means we're back to business as usual next week! Reminder to everyone that we do not have practice on Monday, and on Tuesday we move to our morning practices:

• 11 & up from 9am-10am
• 10 & under from 10am-11am
• Assisted Swimmers will have practice from 10am-10:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10am-11am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
• Mini Bites start this Tuesday, May 28th, from 10:30am-11am, and repeat on Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 27th.

It's certainly been warmer than it was last year, but I also want to pass along a fresh reminder of our Weather Policy regarding morning practices as well.
